Why Train with Power?
Power is the most objective metric in cycling. Unlike heart rate, power responds instantly to effort changes — making interval training, threshold work, and race pacing far more precise. It's the single biggest upgrade serious cyclists can make.
Single vs Dual-Leg Power
Single-leg meters measure one side and double it (assuming balance). Dual-leg measures both independently. For most athletes, single-leg is accurate enough for training. Dual matters if you have significant L/R imbalance or race at high levels.
Pedal vs Crank Arm Meters
